The Basketball Network has dedicated support articles to assist associations in reducing time spent restarting and monitoring online competitions post-COVID-19.
This article will assist with associations who are in the early stages of organising their competitions and had not yet assigned players to teams or had not yet opened an online-self registration form.
It outlines the steps to save time in adjusting your existing competition structure if you have had to reschedule your season due to COVID-19 but wish to continue with the same competition configurations but a reduced or increased number of teams before you generate your fixture.
If the competition has not yet started and no players have been assigned to the team you can use the Manage Teams in Competitions feature to add or remove teams from a competition.
You can also use this functionality to unassign a team and make it inactive if that team is no longer planning on competing and had not completed any games.
Note: This functionality will not move the players in the team list when you move the team, the players will have to complete self-registration forms and register into the team again if you already have players in the team list/s when you move them (they will disappear when you move the team).
